1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Offer”) constitute an official offer by the Virtonomics Business Challenge platform (hereinafter referred to as “VBC” or the “Platform”) to any individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) to conclude an agreement on the terms specified herein.
1.2. The Offer governs the procedures for providing and using the services of the VBC platform, including the organization of events and group games on the platform, as well as participation in such events.
1.3. Acceptance of the terms of this Offer is achieved through the User’s registration on the Platform and creation of a VBC Account. Upon acceptance, the User will become either a Game Organizer (Game Master) or a Game Participant (Player), depending on the chosen role.
1.4. The Platform reserves the right to modify the Offer. The current version will always be available on the VBC website and will become binding as soon as it is published.
2. Terms and Definitions
2.1. Virtonomics Business Challenge (VBC) — A SaaS platform for organizing and participating in online business simulations aimed at educational, competitive, and entertainment purposes.
2.2. Virtonomics Business Simulation — The core simulation engine upon which VBC games are based.
2.3. Master Account — An account for Game Organizers that provides tools for planning and managing game events.
2.4. Business Account — A sub-account of the Master Account used for accessing VBC services on behalf of an organization.
2.5. Personal Account — A sub-account of the Master Account used for accessing services as an individual user.
2.6. Participant Account (Player) — An account that enables a user to join games organized by other users (Game Organizers).
2.7. Access Code (PIN) — A digital code required to grant the Participant access to a game.
2.8. Invitation — A type of Access Code, representing a unique and personal PIN code provided for each participant to join a specific game.
2.9. Unified Access Code — A type of Access Code that can be used by all participants until the event’s participant quota is reached.
2.10. Event, Game — A game event conducted based on a set scenario on the VBC platform.
2.11. Game Intensity — The frequency of game rounds in the business simulation. “Intensive mode” refers to rounds that occur every hour, while “Classic mode” refers to rounds occurring every 24 hours.
2.12. Game Scenario — A set of starting conditions, goals, requirements, and limitations for participants within a game.
2.13. Participant Access — The provision of access to a specific game event through the activation of an Access Code.
2.14. VBC Services, Plans — The range of services offered by VBC to organize games and grant Participants access. The full list of services and Plans is available in each user’s account.
3. Terms of Service
3.1. The Platform provides Game Organizers with the ability to create and manage group games using the Virtonomics business simulation engine.
3.2. The Platform provides Game Participants the ability to join and play in one or more games organized on the platform.
3.3. To participate in a game, the Participant must activate an Access Code provided by the Game Organizer.
3.4. The Game Organizer is responsible for ensuring that Access Codes are correctly delivered and valid for Participants.
3.5. Each Participant gains access to the business simulation through their Participant Account.
3.6. All services provided by VBC are subject to the applicable fees as outlined in the user’s account.
4. Responsibilities of the Parties
4.1. VBC undertakes to:
- Provide access to the necessary tools for creating and managing games.
- Provide technical support to Game Organizers.
- Ensure the protection of user data in accordance with privacy policies.
4.2. The User undertakes to:
- Pay for the services according to the fees outlined in their account.
- Provide accurate information during the registration process.
- Comply with the game participation rules and use the Platform in accordance with the VBC policies.
5. Modifications and Termination of the Agreement
5.1. The Platform reserves the right to modify the terms of service and fees, with changes published on the official website.
5.2. The User has the right to terminate the agreement by discontinuing use of the Platform and deleting their account.
6. Liability of the Parties
6.1. VBC is not liable for the actions or inactions of Game Organizers in relation to the organization and management of events.
6.2. The Game Organizer is responsible for providing valid Access Codes and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of the game.
7. Final Provisions
7.1. This Offer enters into force upon acceptance by the User and remains valid until both parties fulfill their obligations.
7.2. Any disputes arising in connection with this Offer will be resolved through negotiation or in court according to the jurisdiction where VBC is registered.
These Terms and Conditions establish a framework for the provision and use of VBC’s SaaS services, with clear definitions of roles, responsibilities, and obligations.
