Business Model

  • You set up your public business challenge for free using our platform and attract participants to it. The participants pay for access to your event and you get your commission from each payment.
  • You set the amount of your commissions from ticket sales for your business event. Your revenue comes from the difference between VBC’s base ticket price ($20) and the final ticket price for the user, which you set when you customize the planned business game. Participants in your business challenge pay for access to your business challenge on the Virtonomics Business Challenge website. Your revenue will be 50% of the markup you set

Example:

You have organized on the VBC platform a public event “Entrepreneurship and Management Challenge” for aspiring entrepreneurs in your region. You have attracted 500 championship participants, setting the cost of participation in your championship at $70. Accordingly, your markup on 1 ticket is $50, and your revenue from each ticket sold is 50% of the markup, i.e. $25. Your income from this event will be:

500 * ($70 – $20)*50% = 500 * $50 * 50%= $12 500

Ideas, Tips, Recommendations:

  • The better your business Challenge landing page is set up, the more detailed and clear the information about your event is, and the more potential participants you attract will want to participate in your business game. And the more revenue you will generate from it.
  • If necessary, upload your accompanying materials to the game’s Participant Materials section or use ready-made materials from the VBC Library.
  • Try to attract media and sponsors for your event to increase the visibility and credibility of your business championship.
  • Generate and offer prizes for the winners of your business game. This will increase the number of participants in your event and their motivation, increase your sales revenue, build the reputation of your subsequent events, and increase sales from the next championships. Rewarding the winners and giving them their prizes is your sole responsibility as the Presenting Partner. The VBC platform is not responsible for prizes set up by the Presenting Partner and their delivery to participants.
  • Try to engage your local media, student, and business communities to publicize your event and award the winners.
  • During the game, try to answer possible questions from the championship participants promptly and give them friendly and complete feedback. You can see the incoming questions in the “Support” tab
  • Try to create championships in several stages using different scenarios. For example, the qualifying stage and final stage.
  • Try to make championships in business simulation focused on relatively homogeneous target audiences, and distribute them into “leagues”. For example, “Student League” for students of educational institutions, “Professional League” for experienced corporate managers, “Entrepreneurial League”, etc.
