We already have the ability to sort subdivisions by ascending or descending Employee Qualification or Required Employee Qualification. Neither of these sorts are terribly helpful.
 
What would help is a sort by the difference: EmployeeQual - ReqEmployeeQual.
 
An ascending sort would put all the subdivisions that need salary adjustment at the top of the list. This would significantly decrease the time required to avoid efficiency problems before they occur.

or better yet: always set qualification to at least required automatically (I see no need to have it lower at all)

If the UI is going to have some changes, in the politics section why not make a map of the world coloured by areas of control with a key for the parties (you could also zoom in and out to view regions and have dots showing cities, dots would be the same colour if controlled by the party which controls a region, but maybe be a darker shade). You could hover over said areas to view basic information about an area and/or person currently in charge.

when you send a subdivision on holiday, you get a pop-up to confirm you actually want this. Why not add a 2nd option: set all supplies at 0?

Review storage requirements at ALL subdivisions and make adjustments: every subdivision should allow for stock of at least 10x daily consumption = 100% without warehouse being overfilled.
 
In any subdivision, do not show "overfilled icon" as long as storage is filled with 100% or less.

Add a new subdivision type "cargo station/distribution center", to use trucks and airplanes as equipment and send goods to any destination; the service can be sold to any company or government.

I'd +1 these suggestions 10 times if I could. Logistics is an important part of the real economy. In virtonomics, however, it seems to require no "resources" (people and equipment).

Change (back) the re-designed **/globalreport/technology_market/total to a version allowing a quick market oversight of what is available, and what not, instead of require users to switch unit types for an hour or more to achieve the same.
 
And add a link right there to expose an invented tech.

This has probably been suggested in some form or another.
 
The change in wages/education is a good feature, but it is a real pain to adjust the salaries in every division to the new circumstances. I would gladly pay 1 Game Point every 52 turns for a one button click to adjust salary in all my divisions to keep employee qualification at the same level. That would be roughly 7 GP per real life year.
 
The HR does not really handle this situation. I keep my factories at the minimum wage necessary, but I keep services and some offices at the highest Q that my top manager can handle for the number of employees.

Sure, you can call it a management problem if i have to locate the factory type by browsing thru analytics/reference/products, search the product and click the link there to get that information = load 5 pages to get to that information which is specific to the original page ...

What pages are we talking about? Your company units? Another company? Or the enterprise market?
