I don't think even one in a million knows what's good for him/her. But democracy is not the knowledge of good and higher things. It's just about rights and according to this theory every idiot also has some rights, even if they make me feel like vomiting when they speak. Will it lead to better results in long term? I say yes, but you might rightfully doubt that.
