is it just me, or is the game's administration making moves that drive down prices and profitability on Mary and Lien?
 
Not to winge about it, I think it is good that things become harder. This is why I enjoy playing on Olga. Just a personal observation I'd like to check with you guys.

Might be. I can't be sure, but some if my stores with frozen ads seem to be suffering from reduced sales, and it doesn't look like new competitors have entered there. Might be the random factor though.
 
Some products reach impossibly high prices. It's unrealistic to have many sales for products that are thousand of times the average wage, and even if the city population is quite small. I wouldn't be surprised if they "regulated" some prices from time to time.

Its gotta be the airline industry being introduced.
 
Not to rag on the game or the administration, because I love this game and the people who provide it for FREE are pretty awesome, but it really gets me worked up when they tinker with things in a free-market economy game. I love Virto because the entirety of everything is player based (or atleast 98% Very we! )
 
Regardless, I'm looking forward to the new products.

update: my attention was mainly drawn to declining sales/prices/profits. The most extreme cases being drops of 75% in sales volumes without anything changing. This over the past 2 weeks.
 
But: I've come across a few inverse situations as well. Profits/sales/prices that have made sharp moves upward.
 
I support all of this as certain situations were extreme. I would appreciate it though if admin would communicate this to us. Then again, maybe they don't know what's going on and this is just a consequence of some minor change somewhere, or even better: this is all happening in my head only :-)

If I recall it well, the wiki said something about market changes; one day you have a boom in electros and next year they have lost interest and there is a new product category leading the boom. Might this one be the case?
