I just had a look to see if there are figures to underline some of the difference between the russian realms and the international ones.
For medicine, for example, the top player on Olga now has a skill level of 138. Anybody care to have a guess how many points this person has spent on getting to that level? With that skill, he makes a whopping 28Bn a day, which is a giant number on Olga. Mary, however, is soo much easier. The number 1 player has a qualification of 66. This means he has spent say 600 VIRT less on his qualification. Even though his skill is much lower, he makes much more money: 37Bn a day.
Restaurant management: Olga's top earner: 3.6Bn a day. Mary's: 21.6Bn!
This to show prices on Olga are much lower. Costs like wages, transport are the same and hence much more important. I found out that some wages issues made my biofactories in one city highly profitable and losing me a lot of money in the next. Losing money, not just making a bit less.
As for spending points. Olga's top owners of wood, farms, orchards, fish bases all own at least twice as much as Mary's. There are more players, hence more owners, and those owners own more.
If I were the owner of this game, I'd focus my attention on keeping the cash from the russian servers rolling in. Hence it's only normal any change in this game is focussed on that.
We can change that if we can create an environment that will increase the player base on Mary/Lien. If we get more players, I'm sure more players will spend more. At the moment it just isn't necessary.
Admin can change things by making slight alterations to the Mary and Lien realms. For example: allowing limited independent supplies of Q1 resources. But also: limiting the retail world. Retail prices are out of whack compared to wages.
