Ezekielprincetyrus Hey! I see you've been playing Virtonomics for nearly 1 1/2 years. Glad to hear your business in Lien is turning a smart profit. I'm a newbie to the game; I joined sometime in March -- forget when exactly.
I find my grocery stores in Mary turn a handsome profit on alchohol, sports food drink, beer (sometimes), sweets and chocolate (sometimes) and whatever on Earth "press is," if I can get a hold of it at high quality for a resonable price, that item turns in gross margins well over 500% quite often.
And this is in a few nations and regions, ranging from Turkey to Thailand and some other places.
I simply followed the suggestion in (forget the guy's name who made the instruction tutorial for newbies -- he's a moderator here ) on using the world reports feature, and seeking out items that are "E" items. This means these items face the lowest competition for local (game player created) retailers, and hence, offer real human game players the best chance to sell more units of that product at a higher price, thus giving that retail store a higher gross margin to make up for all the other low gross margin items.
You might want to check out his guide. It's on the FAQ forum.
good luck!
I was in those E grade markets once...And making 100%+ profits easily....
But then all of a sudden these big guys came in with their super high quality products and brands and couldnt sell my stuff and went into losses, then I sold my stores to a rich guy I knew from lien.
I know these guides and all...But my problem is that its way too many hours spent looking at a screen....I may go blind looking for E grade markets like this, thats why im saying, if someone wants to give me some "intel", please DO !!
And btw im a good all round producer of stuff on lien, if u need anything, just ask. If u see any of my products for sale and price is too high, tell me I'll make special price for you.
Thank you. |
