Tuesday, U.S. time, I thought: why not expand my ops in Mary Realm, and build a furniture factory. I've already got an R&D Lab for that, so it fits nicely with my longer term goals. So I bought a used furniture factory.
What I hadn't expected -- silly me ; by now, I should have come to expect anything on this game -- is there would be NO low priced quality 1.00 or near that level wood for sale -- none.
So, I had to use PayPal, spend "real money" (only $27.00 bucks or something, so not a life-changer, than goodness), then use the points I bought and end up buying a sawmill from the state or whatever its called, way up in Scotland, England.
Then, I try to equip the darn sawmill with both equipment and employees. Absolutely zero production is being forecast.
I'll see what happens as of tonight's update, but my hopes aren't exactly high.
As I said, it's great that any "lost money" spent due to my learning curve playing a game I find really cool is, essentially, "fake" money. (I mean, I could have bought a 2 for 1 pizza special, but as I'm far too fat already, I'd rather spend the money on this game.)
I do plan to beat or at least learn the system of Virtunomics, for each category of and aspect of the game.
thankfully, I've developed some private emails with a few other befuddled game players, so that's a plus.
I still am going to research Gamerflot Ltd. , in Cyprus, and find out who exactly owns and runs the corporatiion behind Virtunomics.
At least Zynga in S.F. files pubic documents with the U.S. S.E.C.
Heck, I'll call the Cypriot government agency that deals with all businesses doing business on their island if need be.
I wish everyone here fun playing this game; I intend to have fun as well.
