Mike1: I got my first fix of the "drug" of computer game playing back in the paleolithic era when everyone only had the 2 choices: a desktop computer with a huge TV screen monitor, or a game console. This was 1995 and 1996. I've been hooked ever since.
In 2010, I read a lead article in the Sunday Business Section of the New York Times, describing how the S.F. - Based firm (just a few miles north of where I live here in the northern parts of Silicon Valley) was going gang busters, all based upon that 1 - 2 % of diehard game players who thought nothing of handing over up to $500 per month -- or more -- to enjoy the virtual games Zynga produced.
I have done some research on the Cyprus registered company that owns Virtunomics -- Gamerflot. Have you any idea of who the business tycoons are behind this game we all play here each day on Vitunomics? I'd love to learn more about them, but so far, they appear very secretive.
