Three years with Virtonomics
 
Knowing that virtonomics has players all around the globe, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone thinks about the death of Osama. So....what do you all think?
 
Personally Im glad he is dead, if he really is dead. But there are a couple weird things about how it all happened. first, how did manage to live all this time so near to the pakistani capital? secondly, why was he buried at sea? perfect excuse for not having a body. and ive heard that he was killed a week ago and then i heard he was killed yesterday. and the timing seems a little bit wierd.

I think that it brings some justice to the victims family of 9/11 and other incidents. However...

I am sure that Al- Qaeda is not done, and that there will be some threats in the future and right now. But I hope nothing ever happens like that again.

"Bin Laden unarmed during raid, White House says"
 
I think the man deserved to be punished for his crimes but killing an unarmed man close-range with a gunshot into the head (and dumped at sea like an animal) is simply disgusting.
 
It looks like the US have been brain-washed by Islamic principles such as the sharia "an eye for an eye" and completely forgot their own religion "You shall not murder", instead making their enemy a martyr.

But you need to look at the situation more. These Navy Seals were sent to capture this man, dead or alive. He charged one of the Seals so they shot him.
 
And it is Muslim tradition to bury a body within 24 hours of the death. They had no option but to bury him at sea.
 
This man left thousands of innocent Americans dead. And hundreds of thousands of Muslims and other people. Did they get a fair a proper burial under the rubble and debris of 9/11 their bodies were torn to shreds. And people are complaining about the proper burial of Osama Bin Laden?
 
Come on.

The guy was just plain too evil / dangerous to be alive he was givin the best burial one would give to an enemy
 
What if Hitler didn't kill himself and the allies got to him alive would they have not killed him armed or un armed? and would they have givin him a proper burial i think not it would be about the same situation as it was with Osama something between the extremes of being completely disgraceful nor giving the guy a 21 gun salute. Now Hitler was alot more evil then Osama would even have hoped to be but there are similarities.
 
We did the best thing we were willing todo with his burial its one of those things where you cant make everyone happy some people think we should have brought his body back here and buried him in the basement of the new freedom tower and some people viewed the guy as a prophet.
 
And to think the Pakistanis didnt know he was there is just absurd he was within a mile of there military academy someone , not everyone, in the government and/or military of that country knew he was there and didnt wish to report it.
 
As globeballa said, The 2000 peoples body parts they are still finding to this date as they dig the new tower and you want to complain about shooting the monster that did that........

i think since muslim extremist have a tendency of killing themselves and anyone around them for their cause, i dont think the SEALs could take any chances. But it still bothers me that we still dont have ANY proof that he is dead. what we know has come from the mouths of shady politicians. no definitive proof whatsoever, just word of mouth. unless i missed something in the news.

Well personally, I don't think the government would make such an abrupt judgement about Osama Bin Laden's death if they wasn't for sure.
 
It would be too easy to know they are lying because Osama would just post a video of himself... and then Obama would be screwed  -- if you know what i mean right
 

and besides there really isn't a big victory in killing Osama anymore, over the years of his "reign" in Al-Qaeda he has merely emerged as a "spiritual leader" for the extremist group -- he doesn't take control over the operations, its kinda like England's monarchy
