On Thursday, Sept. 6, we are planning to expend product lines and introduce new kinds of resources on all Virtonomics realms.

New mining resource

New resource for extraction:

Copper pyrite - extracted on Copper mine.

Later Copper pyrite is fused into

Copper on Copper smeltery.

Semi-products and retail goods
Copper is used for making

Electric drives on Electromechanical factories.

In the future Electric drives will be used to produce retail goods, i.e.:
-

Air-conditioners - on the Factory of climate control appliances (retail category - Electronics)
-

Electric tools - on the Factory of electric tools (retail category - Manufactured goods)

Also, Copper will find its use for

Bronze decor in alloy with Aluminium - in the Art decor studio (retail category - Jewellery)

For some of the new productions there will be a limit for a minimum quantity of supplied raw materials.

Motor-car goods section will sell two new easily produced goods:

Motor oil (basis: Oil and Сhemicals),

Auto parts (made of

Super light aluminium alloys (alloy from Copper pyrite with Bauxite, made on the Factory of super light alloys).

New old product: II generation cars
We also decided to reorganize one of the production industries: Motor-car industry. It's more about laying a foundation for the reform of science research than about the production itself.

There will be new goods in the Motor-car goods section. There will be three types of automobile production (different goods which will require different raw materials):

Sedan
SUV
Sports car

For the production of these goods there will be a new formula: with the use of Super light aluminium alloy.

The most important part is that Generation II cars (i.e. Sedans) will exist together with the old kind of cars, but will also be forcing them out from the market.
Approximate stages and parameters of completion of one item of goods are:

initial retail price of the 2nd generation goods is the same as the one of the 1st generation, the initial volume is 25% of the current volume;
approximate term for the 2nd generation goods reaching the sales level of the 1st generation goods is 100 updates;
approximate term for the 2-times drop in volume of sales of the 1st generation goods - every 100 updates (steady annual drop).

Near future

We are planning a contest in mid September based on some of the new products which will include a number of sale and production nominations.

We are also planning to introduce a new raw material intensive type of goods. These will probably be the goods of Aircraft industry which will include planes.
