As promised, we publish preliminary information about Contest for directors and new tenders.
The launch is due on Jan. 19. Contest for directors (third month contest)
1. Contest for directors (CD) – a 35 day long contest (5 weeks exactly regardless of update failures) for those who have been playing Virtonomics for three months;
2. All finalists of the Contests for Managers concluded since the beginning of a previous CD are automatically registered for the contest regardless of the prize won;
3. A new CD starts every Tuesday; in case there are less than 30 participants, it is delayed for a week. The results are summarized during the update between Monday and Tuesday (in case of technical failures or holidays – during the next working update);
4. Players are withdrawn from the contest in case of blocking and restart;
5. Upon the expiration of 15 updates since the beginning of the CD the participants have to go through the procedure of qualification. To qualify players have to have the level of Management equal to or higher than 10 and have at least 5 unspent VIRTs. Players who have not qualified are withdrawn from the contests;
6. The prize of each CD is 1000 VIRTs;
7. Distribution of the prize VIRTs: 5 nominations with the total prize of 150 VIRTs (first prize is 90 VIRTs, second prize – 45, third prize – 15) and the prime award of 250 VIRTs;
8. Main nominations of the CD:
a. The Standard of Virtonomics nomination. Commercial income of each store of a contest participant is calculated every day. Only stores with positive balance (income exceeds costs, taxes not included) are taken into account. In addition, the overall balance of the company has to be positive according to the calculations, otherwise the day results are not considered. For the final ranking we take into account the maximum within the contest period sum of seven best results of the daily ranking according to one (best) store;
b. The Markets Storm nomination. Each participant gets a point for leadership in sales of goods in items. The maximum is one point per one article of trade in each city. The leadership is among all the realm players, not only among the contest participants;
c. The Consumer Goods nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as a total amount of trade income from the sale of goods produced by a participant company. Sales of ANY store of the realm are calculated, but on condition that the Trade Mark in the city is higher than 0.2;
d. The Quality Label nomination. Each participant gets a point for leadership in the quality of goods produced within the update period (leadership among ALL participants of uncompleted Contests for Directors regardless of the date of their beginning) on condition that he/she is among top 50 producers of the realm (all players are taken into consideration);
e. The Tender mania nomination. Each participant gets a point for winning ANY prize (in VIRTs) in any of regular tenders of the realm (except for prime awards);
9. Apart from VIRTs, the winners (first prize winners) of the nominations are awarded with badges with the bonuses of +3 for trade (1), trade (2), production (3), production (4) and management (5). Restart zeroes these awards;
10. A player can only get one prize in VIRTs. In case of winning in several nominations a player gets the biggest prize and other VIRTs are returned to the budget. At the same time, winning in several nominations does not deprive a player of his/her right to be awarded with several badges;
11. Prime award of the CD goes to a player who has won at least one prize in the main nominations and has the biggest amount of VIRTs on the account right after the summarizing of the results of the main nominations. We take into account all legally earned and unspent VIRTs, including the ones just won. The prime award is paid only if the total amount of payments to all winners of the main nominations of the CD to be completed is at least 250 VIRTs;
12. In all nominations in case of equality of the contest ranking the prize goes to a player with the biggest amount of VIRTs on the account (not including potential award). If this amount is also equal for several players the determinating factor is the size of assets. If the assets are also equal the winner is determined by a drawing. New one day long tenders
Best range of goods. The winner of VIRTs is a store owner with the widest range of goods in a given city. The best store is the one with the biggest amount of sold articles of trade (including TM and franchises) of the quality higher than average in the city among the top 10 of the stores with the highest daily income. Only stores of a given size are taken into account. If the index for articles of trade is equal for several stores, the winner is a store with the highest daily income.
Storm. For each article of retail trade in a given city a store with the highest trade income is chosen. This store gets one ranking point. The winner is a store to gain the biggest amount of points. In case of equality of gained points, the winner is a store to have the highest income from sale of the goods for which he gained points.
New three days long tenders
1. Standard of Virtonomics. Three days long trade tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. During the accounting days the trade income of each store of a given size in a given city is calculated. We take into account only stores with positive balance (income exceeds costs, taxes not included). In addition, the overall balance of the company has to be positive according to the calculations, otherwise the day results are not taken into account. For the final ranking we save the best daily ranking from the 3 days period of one (best) store.
2. Sale. Three days long trade tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. To determine a winner we sum up the sales (in items) of the companies of a given article of trade in a given city. According to the results of the accounting days three leading companies in sales of the article of trade (in items) are determined. However, the prizes among these three companies are distributed according to the total trade income within the period of accounting days.
3. Three days long contest for the best store. Three days long trade tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account.
On the first accounting day we determine the best store according to the formula of the 1-day Best Store tender (best level of service among top 10 stores with the highest income).
On the second accounting day we determine the best store according to the formula of the 1-day Best Range of Goods tender (the biggest amount of items of goods of the quality higher than average in the city among top 10 stores with the highest income).
On the third accounting day we determine the best store according to the formula of the 1-day Storm tender (the highest number of leadership positions according to the income from sale of all retail goods)
The first prize winner gets 5 points, the second prize winner - 3 points, the third prize winner - 1 point. The winner is a store to gain the biggest amount of points within 3 days. In case the results are equal the winner is a store with the best history of sales (best income) within the last 26 updates.
4. Three days long city supply. Three days long trade tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. The company to win VIRTs is the one to have the best sales in a given city for a given product within 3 accounting days. We take into account the income from sales of all city stores of any player. However, the brand in the given city cannot be less than 0.2.
5. Regional leader. Three days long trade tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. The winner of VIRTs is the best producer of a given article of trade in a given region within 3 accounting days. The ones to qualify are the first three according to the quality parameter (of items produced within the given update) and the first three according to the brand parameter (weighted average in a region within an update, only for retail goods). For qualified companies the production volume (in items) is taken into account for the ranking.
6. Technomania. Three days long science tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. The winner is a company to earn more from real sales of a given technology within three accounting days except for five last levels.
7. Tender mania. Three days long universal tender, three last updates before the day of summing up are taken into account. Each player gets one point for winning any prize (in VIRTs) in any of regular tenders of the realm (except for the prime award and Tender mania). The winner is a player to have gained the maximum amount of points within 3 accounting days.
