maybe the badge is awarded based on some sort of achievement, and once u no longer have that achievement, it gets taken away??

It would seem the award badges are temporary. From the info in another thread it looks like the "Excellent trading" badge lasts for two weeks.
 
If somebody who has just got the badge takes note of the conditions it was received under, maybe they could shed some light onto the requirements for it, then we can all gain the badge again.
I originally thought it was based on turnover or profit, but now I'm starting to think it may be efficiency.

I did not get any msges a bout expiration of my badge !!?
and really i want the 2 point that the badge  had not the  badge it self ,, besides if you earned a reward it should always stays with you !
cant give it away then take it back !  Who ever in here gave candy to a child and took it away from him !
,, but it`s all good i guess Well

It's not efficiency. I've expanded my business way too quickly. I'm making way more money than if i hadn't, but all my efficiencies are poor to say the least. I reckon it's to do with Sales/turnover/profit.

I thought it was turnover based to begin with as the first time I received it I more than doubled my store turnover. I changed my mind after the second time I received it when my turnover barely increased over the previous day.
 
Thinking back, I'm sure my stores were all operating at high efficiency when I was awarded the badge, this is what makes me think it is efficiency based.
 
Did you start your agressive expansion sometime around the 20th of August?

the badge is given by the quest level 2 "turnover makes profit" and expires after 2 weeks automatically.
 
There may be a second one if you complete the "customers base" quest but i can't verify that coz i am not able to get 100% efficiency...

I'm sure you are correct. I just checked my quest page and the completion dates fit.

That would also explain why i managed to have 2 of them at the same time. So a double blow when they were taken away fromme without warning. As for when i started expanding, i would say from about 15th August onwards, then i went on holiday for a week and i'm still trying to fix all the now even more messed up efficiencies.
