Hi, I hope the admin is watching this thread.
Here is a suggestion, how about every now and then something bad happens to one of your enterprises or your life in general and you lose money.
For examples:
1. One of your subdivision (factory), the area has suddenly bad flooding, or earthquake or some other natural disaster, cannot produce anything for 4 updates. This will be natural disaster, occurring through out city, region etc. After 4 updates, now it is back in production.
2. One of your cowshed randomly has disease/virus breakthrough, kills 80% of your livestock and now you have to buy livestock again. Not related to forage quality, this happens just randomly.
3. You get divorce, wife takes 50% of your assets. Half of your subdivisions are put on market for sale and you don't get anything from the proceeds. Pay 1% of assets as lawyer fee or she takes 80% of your assets. This will be fun.
4. Office catches on fire. 20% office efficiency for the update and all computer now have to be replaced.
5. Factory/mine/farm building collapses and kills 50% of the workers. Now you have to hire again (paying hiring cost) and then train them as well. Additionally, depending on politics, you have to pay compensation to workers' families who died. Also, have to pay for repairing facilities.
6. Accountant/Cashier runs away with cash. 20% sales down in the store or warehouse for that update. Nothing you can do about it. Happens randomly. Similarly, they steal stock, 20% stock disappears.
7. A loved one passed away and you are depressed. Top manager qualification -10 for everything for 1 update.
The more total assets you have the more likely bad things will happen to you. These bad things don't happen to players less than 120 days old. These are just some suggestions, I'm sure you can come up with more situations. And don't make a list of these and reveal in announcement exactly all the different things that can happen, keep them secret. Just let them happen randomly without warning.
