Hi,
 
I've been using Analytics-Macronomics as reference for doing research before opening new locations: Country -> Region -> Human Resources tab.
While it reports "recruiting cost" per type of worker, it does only report "average salary" (across the types of workers??). As salaries seem to differ by ca. factor 10x, a averages are quite meaningless.
 
What's your experience for reasearching salary cost for new factory or laboratory locations ?

Generally, in my experience, a factory is about 70% of the average salary, and laboratory is about 400% of the average salary that is listed in the reference guide.  Other enterprises are similar, and you can pretty easily find the % of average salary by starting to open one.
 
If you want to be sure, you can always try building an enterprise, and it will list the average salary for that enterprise, or the salary at which you will get the average education worker.
 
As you may know, salaries vary across enterprise types as some enterprises require more higher skilled labor (like labs).
 
It doesn't seem like you are a new player, so I am sure you know that getting the lowest salary is hardly the only concern for opening an enterprise.

Am I looking in the wrong area, or are the recruiting costs under the "Macroeconomics-Human Resources" just not accurate? I try to do a lot of research choosing areas to build labor intensive enterprises, but I've lost count of how many times I have hired workers in an area that doesn't have a recruiting cost listed only to get with a huge cost for personnel expense.
