I kind of agree with Plop. Most of the game mechanics are based on points. Most of the early resources in all the long and profitable chains(mines, farms, wood etc.), all political life, corporations, and so on.
While it is true that you can build a company without game points most of us build our company either by buying game points, or by gaining game point trough tendens, contest or bought plantations/mines/sawmills from events that allowed this for ingame money. None of these exist anymore. Furthermore to buy any of the game point resources for game money is virtually impossible (I have been playing on Mary for several years, and still my entire company is worth less than what a sawmill in general is sold for on the public auctions)
I think for most non-real dollars players the main limiting factor for growth is no longer top manager qualification or skill of the player, but the ability to get game points.
The solution to this, as long as the game developers don't what to make it a free/sponsored by commercials browser game, is to play on the new Crypto server, where the game is not limited by points, rather you pay once for a digging units (And thereby the right to play on the server) and that digging unit will eventually make enough VIRTs so that you can keep on playing without paying more. |
