I think you should implent this(Title) into retail stores. as similar like in the restaurant income statement page, but put this instead into the advertising page. This way you can see how quick your popularity index increases each day with your current advertising budget.
 
Nice tool for new players to see how their advertising program influence their popularity index gains.
