To stimulate the power plant industry, I would like to have Biogas powerplants.
 
How it functions:
Animal farms produce besides the current products a X amount of manure daily.
This manure can be used as a consumable for the Biogas powerplant.
 
Also, as a nice feature: If you supply manure to an agricultural farm, you'll get a quality bonus of a X percentage.
 
This idea would surely bring more dynamics into the game, so any feedback is always welcome.

Very, very nice idea Yes
 
There are already bunch of ideas about energy flying around community, such as:
 
-Solar plants (Small max size, can supply only corporation and your own units, no consumables)
-Nuclear plants (A lot of energy, require very expestive and rare uranium, very clean, may with with a chance of explosion which depend on tech)
-Windmills (Like incinerators)
-Tidal Power plants (Only near seas and oceans)
-Geothermal (Only in spetial location)
etc
 
And there is another idea (and this one even was approved but witout exact day of release) with manure. To use it for farms and plantations (which going to have addition spetialty with small bonus to final quality)

Yeah, it would be nice to have all those pigs fartings for producing energy. To you Gorrinolic energy.
 
I hope if the Nuclear plants are added, there is an option for proclaiming a country "non-nuclear area". Specially due to the explosions and trolling players. No nuclear waste produced? Where to store the barrels?
 
No hydraulic plants plans? Dams? Rivers? Artificial water jumps?

It's nice to hear that these ideas are already thought about! I personally think it's a good idea to get "waste" products on the market, forcing people to use it in any way there is possible. Literally having a shit pile stuck in warehouses is the greatest thing ever!I roll!
 
Sometimes I actually think there should be players elected by the community, of which the winners can develop an X amount new products/factories/whatever every once in a while to be implemented in the game. It's a community game after all, and it does bring a certain kind of new politics.
 
And please don't bring up any nuclear stuff, since probably that conversation will end up like the discussion about meat categories To you

Ok that last sentence was enough to get my attention. Yes I like this ides and a few of the others that have been brought up so far, solar (or something) that companies can use to power their own enterprises is an interesting one.

Great idea. It would definitely boost the energy industry, not to mention agriculture!
( on Lien there is a shortage of foodstuff)

That's great to hear. Of course you don't want to have 12 different types of power plants but a few more options could be good. Plus a new type that is has some dependencies on another industry will help to strengthen the other industry as well in this case agriculture.

Yeah sounds like a good idea! It will help to increase the agriculture I think if you could sell the byproduct to the power plants.
And brings some "green" thoughts in the game. And yeah maybe a bonus for businesses who are working clean.

is really interesting proposal and what is more interesting is that is dated back in 2015 ie 5 years ago!
 
I feel that is and will be demotivating for all players to post any ideas or suggestions (apart from tactical things) if we do not receive any feedback
