would it be viable to have a loan system of enterprises? the parent company could rent thier enterpises to companies at a price each week. this would help smaller companies progress as they dont have to pay the whole fee for a factory for example. the players could agree terms of the rent and each party would have to buy out of the deal if they wish to cancel it. this would benefit both companies as the company wishing to sell would still gain a constant income and the renting company would get a factory at a smaller price than buying a whole one to own as well as the equipment required.

also the companies could agree deals within their agreement such as produce and a percentage of the profit made at the factory. it would make selling enterprises more interesting.

this maybe complete rubbish but it would help those smaller companies

Why do you want this option?
Maybe because you want to produce some raw materials (like steel) for your end-level production factory (like canned factory) ???
So, if it is true, then i can tell you that you can just buy steel (or what you want) on open market. Trust me, big chance that it will be cheaper, than renting factory. And also do you think you will produce high-quality steel on factory, in case of renting? No, new players can't do it, because of many factors (one is your TOP manager's qualification).

I agree with pectopatop. There are several issues with this idea:

- How does the large company benefit from this? Small players can't afford e.g. a large steel mill.
- Small players lack in production qualification to produce high quality goods in large factories. So they won't benefit from this.
- You pay rent in addition to prime cost, probably making even overprices open market goods look cheap.

If you can't find some product or raw material you need you might post your request here on the forum and you almost certainly find a supplier. People just need to communicate to get what they want.

Yes, the main limitation for industry in virtonomics is qualification, not money Well
