When logging in this morning to find out I had losses of more than 200 million $ I was shocked and after a short investigation I found out that there is a bug at three of my mills.
All three mills sell internally at around or below 2.0 $. When I check their financial report they all have revenues of a few hundread million $, which means during the last game update the selling price must somehow have been calculated at crazy rates well above 10000$. Thus I had to pay a few hundread million in taxes driving my company deep into red numbers. I really don't know what happened there as my selling price was clearly only at around or below 2.0$ before the game update so this is clearly a game bug! Please fix this, if this happens again I am going to be bankrupt shortly!

Luckily the bug didn't occur again in the last turn. But it would be really nice to get those few hundread million in taxes that I paid too much back. I need the money for my food for Africa project  |

| It all has been solved thanks to the great support of the Virtonomics Team. +1 to them
What I didn't know and what isn't shown in the GUI anywhere is the following. Turn 1 you sell at 10000 Turn 2 you sell at 1 Turn 3 you sell at 1 Turn 1 you buy at 10000 Turn 2 you buy at 10000 (yet the GUI shows 1 on the supply page) Turn 3 you buy at 1 I don't know if this behaviour is/was intended, but as you can see price changes will not affect current supplies before one more turn ends and thus this discrepance between sales price and actual revenue. I would rather call it a bug and non-intended behaviour since this should CLEARLY be shown in the GUI if the game treats old contracts like this. |
