There must be a way both to sell to any customer (at a higher price) and sell to my own stores (at a lower price) from the sales menu of my factory. right now, to do that requires that everyday i supply my own stores first and then change to higher price to sell the surplus stock to everybody else. i don't want to build two factories as well, one to supply my company, and one to supply the game world. is there a way for the game to improve this aspect of the game, so that we can set supply to providing our own companies and the rest of the world as well? right now, you can only supply one or the other. i'm sure im not the only player who feels this way.

You can sell to yourself and your warehouse at a lower price, then sell from the warehouse to others at a higher price.

Warehouse is the solution most players choose for this. Also to make sure all goods are sold and the factory profit stays in the green.
 
i still think it would be cool to have a possibility to sell @ different prices!
 
For example a check box "freeze price" on certain contracts and means price won't be modified even the main selling price is edited.

i see. adequate solution. but yes, there are still things that could be done with the price setting mechanisms like the one above.

Yes, having the ability to set different prices for different categories of purchasers would be great.  
 
That will also help eliminate the need for warehouses which now takes a toll on office management as well.
 
It would be great if the game developers can consider this enhancement for all production facilities.

The option of selling at different prices is not planned for now in the game.

I read in the wiki that I can sell to the world at higher price and then move the rest to the warehouse and sell to my store at lower price
however, I'm not able to find out how to move the rest of my factory production to the warehouse, I don't have that yellow icon there
am I doing something wrong?

You'll have to set some price(set $1) and "Only my company", then the yellow truck will appear.
