So I had about 240k chocolates, and they were all sold out, but after the game update i only sold 43k. When I went back to check, it still sayed there were more orders than i had products. Why is it that the other 197k chocolates didn't sell??
 
I'm thinking that it didn't sell because the factories that had ordered didn't have enough money to purchase them? That's what I'm thinking. Anyways its the first time it's happened like this out of all my factories..

It happened to me too, with my shoe factory. I cut all the orders that didn't fill, and the new ones that came in worked fine. I think maybe they ran out of money...? It seems unlikely, because there were lots of orders from big companies, all at the same time, maybe it was just a glitch.

There are some players, who order goods without enough cash. Just break contracts with them to let other players see that you have goods in stock.
 
Some times such players comes back. Than send them letters with the request of explanation. If it will not take an effect - send a letter to support. They should help you.

A player may find a better offer at later time of day after you checked... and change the contract quantity with you, but then change it back again after the game update before you log in.
 
It may also be another player's strategy to do this so he can sell his goods first, especially if your price is lower.

...or he can create a new company to make an order and block sells. It is illegal, but not all players are angels. ;)
