Thank you for your explanations.
The 23 Nov 2021 Brasilia Motorcycle tender (Trading in the Cities) was a tender I entered. In reviewing the market data for motorcycle sales in Brasilia, I found that the only sellers shown were all non-amateur (all are very large, high-skill players). So I entered thinking that I was going to compete with amateurs, not these existing high-skill players.
Although three other amateur players entered the tender, my store was the only one that showed sales, coming in 4th behind the existing big three non-amateur stores.
In the results for finished tenders page it shows that one of these (in this case Mike1) is the winner at number 1. Under the results tab for the tender it lists the three high-skill players, unregistered, as places 1, 2 and 3.
This makes me believe that my 4th place was ignored because the top 3 were being considered as viable participants, when if fact they could not register.
Am I seeing this correctly? To me, the top three that cannot register, should not have their stores included in the determination of who the best amateur is. Otherwise, any tender that relates to a location/product/activity that is already dominated by non-amateurs becomes almost impossible to win for smaller, new players.
So as an afterthought, if my store had been able to overcome the top three non-amateur stores, then I would have won. Which is the same as competing against the non-amateur players. |
