I noticed I could only find extremely high-quality hairdressing machinery, so I created a low-quality option. I'm intentionally trying to keep the quality at 1.00 for people who want to lower their equipment quality. Is this a good strategy overall?

your sales will tell. by looking at your sales you can tell when to switch to Q1 and when to switch to higher quality.
 
if i have to speculate, there's always a small demand for Q1 equipment: some are beginners, some want to downgrade and some believe high quality is a hoax.

I would recommend between 5 and 10 quality, this is a good range for people that can't use 15-30 quality but need more than 1-5.
 
Also it means they can buy high quality ones and then use yours to lower the quality to what they need.
