Newbie here I own a store in Umea which has 3 departments -- Clothes and Shoes, Foodstuff and Jewelry. The home page of the store has the following alert:
"Trade section Foodstuff has very weak sales position. Perhaps, you should better close this department, since stores with small number of trading departments have better results."
What exactly does it mean by weak sales position? What determines whether a section has a weak or strong sales position?
How will a weak sales position affect the general revenue in my stores? Will it adversely affect my umber of visitors and popularity? Will the weak sales position of one department affect sales in another department?
