Hello,
 
I want to change the specialisation of my production plant.  so obviously I need to prepare sufficient stock of different raw materials supplies.  
 
1. Why could I not simply order any sort of supplies to my factory independent of the product I am currently producing?
2. Ok fair enough. You want me 2 operate this via a specialised Warehouse?  but still:  I can't even dispatch goods from my Warehouse to any of my plants if not current production plan requires them.
 
Question: how could I move new raw materials to my production plant before I change its specialisation,  so my plant does not run dry for one game period.

If this is really important to you: find a second factory in the same city (eg through the enterprise market). Set it to the new specialisation. Procure the supplies. Then merge.

it doesn't make sense. But look at it this way: running a game like this demands quite a few resources. Unless we all start paying hefty monthly fees, programming time is going to be limited. There will probably always be other stuff with higher priority than fixing this...
 
To me, focussing on what's right and so good about this game and covering up any glitches with the aspect that it's free, gives me a very positive feeling about Virtonomics.
 
To top it off: there are plenty paid games that even have bugs causing them to crash, which is far worse in every way...

I totally agree, and have lots of positive feelings about Virtonomics.
Yes, I've seen commercial games (Business School use) that Virtonomics can easily draw equal on.
 
Yet, I think in this case it's simply a unnecessary restriction, relatively easy to change. Posted the feature request - that's what we can help with ;))
