So, I built a coffee house in Moratuwa (Sri Lanka, Western Ceylon) which is according to the restrictions of the contest for tycoons. While I am in no way close to the leader in the contest, I am astonished that my restaurant does not pop up at all.
 
I opened the restaurant on 1st and have profit starting 6th of January (100k, 150k, 1M, 1M, 1.1M). Still I am not listed in the contest.
 
Furthermore, in the "Top 100" I am on rank 191 with incorrect negative profit (-$694 406) and correct turnover ($1 620 000).
 
Expenses are $586 943.
 
What am I missing?

Oh.... I think I figured it out. Because if I subtract the raw mat cost, my profit goes negative, is that it?

Wonson, as I tried to explain, the financial report showed a profit (1,6 million revenue, 0,56M expense) but 0 tax paid.
 
This was essentially due to having stockpiled ressources before and then stopping the buy orders. I was not aware that not the current income/expense kind of profit counts for taxes, but rather the revenue/cost.
 
I hope this makes my confusion and the (hopefully correct) solution understandable. Sorry, English is not my first language and I think I did not express myself well.
