Sorry if the question has been raised before. I'm curious to know what happens to technology if I consolidate factories. I have one factory with purchased license 23, the other runs on tech 20 that my company holds. Will I get tech 20 or tech 23 if I merge the two factories? Don't want to lose the purchased license.

When merging factories with different tech level, you keep the one owned by the factory you are merging too. I am unfortunately not completely sure, if this is also relevant for licences - but if I would have to guess, I would say yes.
