Hello there. If ill buy an agricultural farm size X for game points, how does the size upgrade works if i want to upgrade it to size Y? If there is ability to increase it in size at all.

Hello there. If ill buy an agricultural farm size X for game points, how does the size upgrade works if i want to upgrade it to size Y? If there is ability to increase it in size at all.

If you buy a agricultural farm size X for game points and wanted to upgrade it to size Y you will end up paying more points. It would be better if you just buy a farm size you wanted rather that upgrading it. Well

Cost of farm size Y - (cost of farm size X x 0.75)
All rounding goes up.
 
Eg. Fertility 3 farm in Turkey costs 15 points for size 1 and 65 points for size 2.
65 - (15 x 0.75) = 54 points to upgrade from size 1 to size 2
 
Counting the 15 points to purchase the size 1 farm in the first place it will cost 69 points total to get to size 2 in two steps, only 4 more than purchasing the size 2 to begin with.
 
The difference is even less when you look at fertility 1 and 2 farms, but more if you look at higher quality/larger farms.
Just remember, if you have low agricultural qualification it may cost points to get qualifications high enough to keep efficiency up for larger farms. Use VLLord's required qualification table to check.
