Hi everyone,
 
I keep having this message:
 
Factory operates at maximum efficiency
Factory load is not full.
You can increase productivity if you hire additional workers.

During the last days I hired new employees, hoping that my production would increase.
It was not the case, I think it's not possible and according to the wiki (Principles: production): production basically depends on the technology level.
 
Therefore, it seems that hiring new people doesn´t have any other effect than quitting part of my children inheritage... Or am I missing something?

You must have more equipment than required for your current number of workers.
 
When you open the employee and salary window there should be "Employees required:*number of staff" in the top right corner.
Make your staff number the same as that to get full factory load.

I have the same issue with my mill and my factory:

Concerning the number of equipment I didn´t change them and they are the default value since my entreprise is new.
 
But in this case perhaps reducing the number of machines would have a better effect?

this message always appears if your factory is expanded bigger than the current usage,
for example built to support 1000 workers but only having 900 workers as your qualification may not support 1000 workers (yet)
 
Don't worry about this message, as long as you have enough workers for your equipment quantity, or vice-versa, it shouldn't do any harm since "Factory operates at maximum efficiency"

I think I have the answer to my problem thanks to this thread: http://virtonomics.com/mary/forum/forum_new/13/topic/100871/view. I was increasing the number of employees but not the equipment...
