does the presence of other stores effect my store's # of visitors greatly?
in wiki it is said that it is better to open stores in places where there is less competition. does that mean that a visitor will go to only one store in a week?

if my store has some reputation, will shifting it to other location resets it?

The amount customers doesnt depend on stores. I dont think. But how much you sell depends the market volume. Market Volume says how much of that particular item can be sold in total in a week.
