Hi,

I wonder about the correctness of the formulas in the Production info site:
http://virtonomics.com/lien/main/product/info/7094

It says:
1 mirror = 1 wood + 1 mirror plate
1 mirror = 1/10 plastic + 1/10 mirror plate (with -50% quality)

The formulas look really strange since even with 50% quality lower, the 2nd formula takes only 10% mirror plate compared to the 1st formula. That is a huge cost difference given that the cost of mirror plate is not low.

Hence, are there anyone here producing mirrors? Are both formulas correct?

On a young realm like Lien it is not worthwhile spending the extra money for the higher quality version. With a low max tech level the difference in quality is marginal.

As the realm develops and the quality gap widens, it will tip the scales towards the higher quality product.

Thank you for your reply. I know that but it seems the formula is wrong. 1/10 is a very big ratio since the price of mirror plate is big (around $100). That makes the price of the first formula about 9 times bigger than the 2nd one which is a huge difference. And comparing to the other products with multiple formulas, it seems to me that this one is buggy.

Could anyone producing mirrors clarify that?

To produce mirrors for regular sale second formula is usually used.
And for big company, which takes part in tender, main is quality. So first formula is usually for tenders.
