can someone please explain the equipment wear numbers please?
 
most of my factories has Equipment wear as (x + 1), then other times, it is just a number (6) with not the red plus sign.
 
what does the red plus sign mean?
 
do i always need to replace all the worn equipment to ensure 100% work efficiency?
 
how come there are times when the red plus sign is not there? like (0 +1)

offices: if the wear of computers is less than 3%, that does not influence work efficiency; for factories and laboratories the index is just 1%, that is if machines or devices are worn by more than 1%, that will influence the enterprise efficiency.
Red plus means that overall all the equipment is fine, but it wouldn’t hurt buying one more item.

The +1 is partially worn equipment.
 
When the plus sign is not there the equipment wear % equates to a whole machine/computer/device.
 
Different enterprises have different numbers of equipment so the % of wear will also be different.
 
To see for yourself how it works, next time you have a factory with (x + 1) go to the equipment popup and click on repair.
Choose any equipment and see how the numbers change when you select 1, 2,3, etc units to repair (type the number then click outside the typing box to refresh).
