For a well functioning democratic world every voice is important and we highly appreciate your opinion.  Moreover, we would like to invite you to an open dialogue to discuss your concerns and visions to improve life in the cities which we represent.
 
Maybe you had a bad experience at the DOMINATION party, which appears to represent, as its name says, the total opposite of your political ideology. We understand and agree with you.
 
Be informed that commercial interests and greed for power are NOT the main driver for the Allied Democrats. Our party in fact is spending over 400 Million a week to support the city budgets of those 3 cities in which we are present now, and additional billions for municipal projects.
 
For the Allied Democrats the word "philanthropists" is an appropriate description and if you truly mean what you express in your forum post and party description, you know that you should no further hesitate to apply for a membership at the Allied Democrats,  because thats where your intentions will find greatest support.
 
PS: anyone to our party is welcome, please check the rules at our introduction site prior to applying

It's been a while that no other municipal project had been launched but only City Festival.
 
Please let all of us know if there is any other projects you intended to do for Murcia city.
It is obvious that focusing only on individual popularity is not the way to go for the post of Mayor.

The major of Murcia seems a bit busy these days, he shall respond to you shortly.  
 
Meanwhile, as the Chairman of the party i am pleased to inform that our party is sponsoring the city of Murcia with virto-weekly (e.g daily) expenses of 84 Million to balance the budget.  The city collects just a bit more than 10 Million of taxes and 44 M of rent income but almost 140 M is spent for Educational purposes and city improvement.

Abuja, Bamako, Istanbul, Izmir, Lisburn, Toshkent and London are not profitable either.
So how long will you wait until Murcia turn a profit so you can start a major development project for your citizens?

I cannot speak for the other mayors, but as Izmir is mentioned, I'll tell you right now that you will see a vast reduction in municipal projects there. I have experimented with them, but as VLLord said: there really isn't much that you can do for the good of the city anymore. And as the budget is negative already, I cannot lower rents.
 
To be clear: Izmir is richer now than it was when I became mayor. It has lower unemployment and it's retail market has improved marginally. I will remain attentative to both issues and give my support where needed. Any other suggestions to make Izmir better for business are always welcome.
 
The developpers have indicated that this start of politics was but a small start. And that is entirely normal and comprehensible. This aspect offers a lot of potential. We'll just have to bide our time and enjoy any additions. Until that time, I'm more than happy to give feedback on anything concerning Izmir. (not that anybody asked :-))
