General terms
The contest on realm Mary is divided into three sections.
I. "Book fair";
II. "Finnish Fashion Month" (commercial contests in a new country and with new goods);
III. "Changes era" (general commercial and special contests).
I. Book fair
(Contests listed under items 1.1 – 1.4 are only for those players whose qualification levels in Marketing and Commerce are not higher than 9 at the moment of registration).
1.1. 100 meters (books in the cities of Finland, stores 100 sq. m.);
1.2. 500 meters (books in the cities of Finland , stores 500 sq. m.);
1.3. 500 metres-2 (books in all the cities, stores 500 sq. m.);
1.4. Book fair (books in the cities of Finland, stores 1000 sq. m.);
1.5. Berlin liest! (books in Berlin , stores 10 000 sq. m.);
1.6. Student (best book and best bag contests – you have to enter the top ten according to bags quality and the top ten according to books quality, altogether up to ten prizes)(without special ranking);
1.7. Best manufacturer of books (The competitors for the prize are top book brands at the average in Finland. The winner is the brand with the largest total production volume in Finnish enterprises within the last two weeks of the contest (without special ranking));
1.8. Bookworm (the winner is the store with the most qualified personnel among the Top-10 members who are also leaders in any of the commerce nominations);
II. Finnish Fashion Month
2.1. 500 meters (leather accessories, bags and outerwear in the cities of Finland, stores 500 sq. m.);
2.2. 1000 meters (leather accessories, bags and outerwear in the cities of Finland , stores 1000 sq. m.);
2.3. Finnish Fashion Month (the entire goods class of shoes and clothing, all cities, stores 10 000 sq. m.);
2.4. Provide food and clothes («clothing and shoes» + «grocery», all cities, stores 100 000 sq. m.);
2.5. Best outerwear (the competitors for the prize are top Outerwear brands at the average in Finland. The winner is the brand with the largest total production volume in Finnish enterprises within the last two weeks of the contest).
III. Changes era
3.1. French Autumn (realm Mary: all goods in French cities, stores 1 000 sq. m.);
3.2. Meat strike (realm Mary: meat sales in all cities, stores 10 000 sq. m.);
3.3. Changes era (all goods, all cities, stores 100 000 sq. m.);
3.4. Beauty is a strong power (realm Mary — cosmetics and perfumery, all cities, stores 1 000 sq. m.).
Prizes
The first three prize winners in every nomination for every commerce nomination, and also in the Bookworm nomination, will be awarded: the winner gets the Gold Finnish Lion merit badge, which gives a +5 bonus to manager’s levels of qualification in Commerce, Marketing and Management, the second winner gets the Silver Finnish Lion with a +3 bonus, the third winner gets the Bronze Finnish Lion (+1).
The winners of the derived nominations (items 1.6, 1.7, 2.7) are awarded with analogous Lions, but the bonuses are for Production, Marketing and Science.
Contest terms and conditions
All contests last for 3 weeks, from 21 Oct. 2009 till 12 Nov. 2009 inclusive.
Commerce contests winners are determined according to the total of seven best trade turnover indices of one store (there can be a few stores-competitors from one company, but only one can be ranked). The requirement for the updates to be taken into account is profitable work of the store and the entire company (the Money Flow index of the financial report).
The first upgrade to be taken into account is the one from 21 Oct. to 22 Oct. 2009. The last one – from 11 Nov. to 12 Nov. The contest winners announcement is to happen after the auditing, approximately 16-17 Nov. 2009. The contest terms will not be prolonged in case of any difficulties in supply of the access to the game server.
For the contest period the following restrictions for stores sizes are introduced:
It is forbidden to open 10 000 sq. m. and 100 000 sq. m. stores in all cities of Finland.
In order to take part in one of the nominations you have to register your company in the appropriate contest section. The registration for the contest is to be opened during the whole day of 21 Oct. 2009.
