This AM, the game was working fine 1 second and the next second I could not load any pages. Timeout errors.
 
At work, I have no problems. I am still getting timeout errors from home. I have no problems accessing any other sites from home. I use Firefox at home and Chrome at work.
 
Any help would be appreciated.

The situation has not resolved after 2 more updates. I tried using Chrome at home, but Chrome cannot access the site from either. Someone is blocking my connection between home and the game site.
 
After considering a number of options, I have decided the best thing for me is to just walk away. I did not make this decision lightly as I have considerable time invested in this game. I apologize for any inconvenience to other players. I wish you all the best going forward.

Your problem might be related to your home computer setup or internet connection.
 
I've used chrome and safari on OSX, chrome on android 4.xx and 5.xx,  explorer on a windows 7 PC, connecting from various static, dynamic and mobile locations/countries without any issues.
 
The only problem i found is that on Windows explorer which doesn't allow to set innovations at the subdivision, only via management screen.
