"Number of Departments influences the sales volume: if everything is equal, stores with few departments will have better sales than stores with many departments."
 
So in store with 2 departments i close 1 so i can have higher sale in other , volume of sale was stable , market share 10-30% in high wealth city but ..
When i close departments next update i had higher sale from 30-200% , in next i had drop from 20-40% and in 3th update after closing 1 department my sale volume for most products back as it was before closing second department and some products have even lower sale volume ( i didn't change prices and quality is nearly same or 100% same )
 
Why this happen ?

Now, I hope I won´t be shooting my foot if I answer... anyways.... Well
 
With more departments you need more workers to keep same customer-service level.
The retail market is dynamic, so maybe you just burnt it and have to move to greener pastures.
 
Hope you appreciate the effort thou I´m not very experienced (not old anyway).
