Poland has some mineral resources as well: Coal, copper and iron ore
 
Very soon Agricultural Union of the new country planning to launch a massive program of regional development which supposed to have a positive effect for Polish economy. Wait for the announcement!

Poland will appear in all realms, Mary and Lien going to have a new agricultural product Potatoes!
 
Potatoes mainly used in livestock farms as animal feed. 11 new specializations for Livestock farms will be added so you can use potatoes for any kind of animal farm.
 
In addition to that there are some other areas where you can use potatoes:
 
- In Mary a new product is Instant food
- Mary and Lien going to have a new specialization in restaurants - Fried Chicken
 

Beekeeping
 
We couldn't ignore active lobbying of a new livestock business area. Our players made it clear - they have been really passionate about adding beekeeping and we decided to do that. Today we announce Beekeeping industry for all realms!
 
Basically Apiaries are very similar to other livestock subdivisions in terms of interface and functionality.
 
Apiaries "Equipment" is Bees
 
"Animal feed" / consumables for Apiaries is Wax foundation
 
Beekeeping products depend on apiaries specialization (4 different specializations: Collecting honey, pollination of crops, medicinal beekeeping and reproduction of bee families):

Royal jelly (retail product)
 
Also there are two additional products which you can obtain by manufacturing
Wax foundation (Made in new factory)
Cosmetic masks (Product for stores)
 
Some old factories going to get new specializations which use beekeeping products:

Medovukha (beer)
Honey jam
Polishing (cleaning products)
Anti-Aging Cream (Cosmetics)
Bee medicinal ingredients (natural honey products)
 
Independent supplier located in Ufa / Russia (Buenos Aires for Mary) of Wax foundation will support the industry at the beginning.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Agricultural farms and plantation of all kinds will get a bonus to product quality. The bonus depends on number of apiaries (fully functioning) in the city. Not only apiaries owned by player going to be taken into account but also all apiaries owned by corporation members are accounted. This works only for apiaries which have "pollination of crops" specialization. The maximum bonus for crops (product) quality is +50% +20%. Number of healthy bee colonies per 1 hectare of land is getting into account. Apiaries of corporation members have only +50% +20% effect in comparison with your own apiaries. 1 bee colony is enough to get full bonus for X hectares of land. (X depends on quality of bees)

It seems that the pollination bonus doesn't work on my grain farm in Argentina. I can see the indication "Pollination by bees +20%" on farm production page, but it has no effect on my production quality Not so Hope you will fix the problem

With 1 Q1 Bee per ha, I got the full pollination bonus.
 
The independent supplier of Wax Foundation has the Globe icon, while the independent supplier of Q1 Bees does not. This suggests to me that they will keep the Wax Foundation supplier but phase out the supplier of Q1 Bees. That would be comparable to the situation for the other animal farms which have Q1 grain for forage but players supply all the animals.

1 - Max bonus reduced from 50% to 20%
2 - By one bee colony we understand one unit of bees (max size has 250 bee colonies). 3 things have influence on this: Health of bees, total efficiency and quality of bees. Quality 1 gives full bonus to 1 ha, Q2 = 2 ha, etc until Q5. After bees quality of 5 bonus decreasing. For instance Q10 gives full bonus to 5.8 ha
3 - Independent suppliers of Wax foundation and bees going to stay at least until June.

How about Q20 bees; how many hectares would it provide full bonus to? A table would have been nice..

How about Q20 bees; how many hectares would it provide full bonus to? A table would have been nice..

Q20-7,79ha
 
You can use a formula for that
z=5x1.03y-5 ; y⩾5 ; y - quality of bees; z=hectares of land bees wouldn't mind to patrol.
Alternatively you can check the units production tab to see an instant booster effect after you managed to tame/hire/install the bees to your unit.

How about Q20 bees; how many hectares would it provide full bonus to? A table would have been nice..

You can use a formula for that
z=5x1.03y-5 ; y⩾5 ; y - quality of bees; z=hectares of land bees wouldn't mind to patrol.
Alternatively you can check the units production tab to see an instant booster effect after you managed to tame/hire/install the bees to your unit.

5 * (1.03 * (20-5)) = 15.60

You are using multiplication instead of exponentiation.
 
To have an easy understanding of the formula, it will be useful to show how it is created.
We know that gps-navigator of bees improves progressively for 3% for every additional unit of quality after level 5.
So it can be written down this way
Q6 - 5x1.03
For next level you will just need to multiply the previous result to 1.03. Or it can be written this way
Q7 - 5x1.03x1.03
Q8 - 5x1.03x1.03x1.03 etc.
Once you are tired of repetitive act, you can compress it this way
Q6 - 5x1.031
Q7 - 5x1.032
Q8 - 5x1.033
Now it is ready to fit into one formula
z=5x1.03y-5
 
Easy, right?
