I'm P!$$£d off! I have been waiting for my cotton farm to complete its cycle and NOTHING! Could anyone please tell me WHY nothing has grown?

I still dont really get it. Is it because I brought the farm too close to the sewing phase? If I just chill on this do you think my farm will produce next season?
