Contest “Baltic Underwear”
Today we are announcing a new contest under the name of Baltic Underwear.
The contest will take place on all the realms of Virtonomics: Vera, Olga, Anna, Mary and Lien.
The contest will take place on the territory of the countries that we have just launched:

Lithuania,

Latvia and

Estonia.

Conditions
3 nominations on all realms:
I. Baltic Underwear – the contest of sales of the state Trademark Aluspesu for the product

Underwear in Riga, stores of 1000 sq.m;

The winner of the contest is determined according to the total of 7 best indices of the turnover in a given store, which has to be of the required size, according to the sales of the products included into the contest categories (several stores from one company can participate, but only one of them will be taken into account for the ranking; if one nomination includes several categories, the sales of just one of the necessary departments are enough to participate in the ranking). We only take into account the updates when a company and its store both have made income (see "money flow" in the financial report).
Additional conditions of the nomination:
- the contest product is supplied by the state company Virtonomics from the warehouse in Riga (the sale opens 1 day before the beginning of the contest);
- the initial brand of the product in Latvia is 1,0; in 7 updates after the beginning of the contest - 2,0; in 14 updates - 3,0;
- the price for the dispatch of the product form the warehouse is equal to the average price of the product set by local suppliers in the city; the price is revised in 7 and 14 updates;
- the dispatch from the warehouse has a limit of 5000 units per one update;
- after the conclusion of the contest the products not sold will be purchased by the state company Virtonomics by their originally set sale price;
- the contest products are to be sold only in Latvia; to avoid the sales of the contest products in other countries we introduce prohibitory export duty for Underwear which will be effective WITHIN THE CONTEST PERIOD and will be equal to 10 000%; to avoid the influence of other products on the contest results we also introduce the prohibitory export duty of 10 000%;
- it is forbidden to use clones in the contest;
- we introduce the limit for the size of the stores in the country: 1000 sq.m

II. «Baltic Dreaming» – the contest of sales of the state Trademark Voodipesu for the product

Bed linen in Vilnius, stores of 500 sq.m, 10 000 articles of trade;

The winner of the contest is determined according to the total of the turnover of one store which meets the size requirements according to the sale of products included into the contest categories within the contest period. We only take into account the updates when a company and its store both have made income (see "money flow" in the financial report), i.e. we take into account the total of sales not exceeding 10 000 units Voodipesu.
Additional conditions of the nomination:
- the contest products are given for free, each company REGISTERED IN THE CONTEST receives a store (500 sq.m, residential area) with 10 000 units of the product in Vilnius during the update before the beginning of the contest, this happens during the first 12 updates of the contest. A company can only receive one store. If a company has already gotten a store and there is at least one unit of the product in any of the company’s enterprises OR if a company has sold at least one item of the contest product within the contest period, the company then loses its right to receive a store. The necessary requirement to get a store is to have an office in Lithuania. An enterprise is given during an update;
- the initial brand of the product in Lithuania is 1,0; in 7 updates after the beginning of the contest it is 2,0; in 14 updates - 3,0;
- after the conclusion of the contest the contest products which have not been sold are to be eliminated unilaterally from the warehouses of all enterprises without any exclusions;
- the contest products are to be used in Lithuania only; to avoid the sales of the contest products in other countries we introduce prohibitory export duty of 10 000% for Bed linen which will be effective WITHIN THE CONTEST PERIOD; to avoid the influence of other products on the contest results we also introduce the prohibitory export duty of 10 000%;
- in case a store sells more than the defined lot of the products (10 000 units) by means of buying the contest products on secondary market the owner company is to be disqualified from the contest;
- it is forbidden to use clones in the contest;
- the number of stores is unlimited, but the volume of sales within the contest period is limited to 10 000 items;
- we introduce the limit for the size of the stores in the country: 1000 sq.m

III. «Shopping in Tallinn» – the contest of the leadership in sales of separate products in Tallinn, there are NO additional limits for the store sizes;

The winner is the company which gains the biggest amount of points in 1 city within the contest period. For each retail product we choose a store with the best retail income (sales of Trademarks and Franchises are added to the sales of the «parent» product). Such store gets one point in the ranking.
If the daily turnovers are equal, both stores get +1 in the ranking. If the positions in the final ranking are equal, the winner of the prize is the company which has the best total turnover made within the contest period in the store taken into account for the ranking. We allow several stores of the company to participate in each city, but for the daily ranking we take into account just one (best) store.
Additional conditions of the nomination:
- the sale of the store within the contest period excludes it from the ranking (on the stage of monitoring after the contest);
- we introduce the permanent limit for the size of the stores in the country: 1000 sq.m;
- it is forbidden to use clones in the contest;

Prizes
There are 15 prize places in the nomination:
Winners on Vera, Olga, Mary and Lien get the badge which gives a +3 bonus for all levels of top manager’s qualifications.
The participants who win 2nd and 3rd places in the nominations get the badges which give +2 for all qualifications.
Winners of the places from 4 to 6 get badges which give +1 for all qualifications.
Winners of the places from 7 to 15 get the badge with the +1 bonus for Commerce and Marketing.

Each nomination has its own prize.
The prize-winners on Anna get the respective awards without bonuses.

Term of the contest and other conditions
All contests last for 20 updates, from July,6 to July, 26 2011 inclusive.

The first update to be taken into account for the contest: from July, 6 to July, 7 2011. The last contest update: from July, 26 to July, 27. The official announcement of the winners will take part after the monitoring; the approximate dates are July, 28-29, 2011. In case the contest enterprises are closed before the final contest results are published, the demands for recalculating the results will not be considered.
The awards are to be given out on August, 1-3. The contest term will not be extended in case of any difficulties with the access to the game server.
To participate in any of the nominations you have to register your company in a relevant contest section. The registration for the contest is open from July 4, 2011. so, rules are not set, contest period is from July 6 to 26, but import duties imposed already, even if order was made before the announcement about the contest rules. So I did lose 3 bn because of that. Nice

so, we changed some bits again, like instead of the warehouses, you'll get STORES with the units of the product. Sorry for the inconveniences, guys!
