I've started a blog with my trials and errors here at Virtonomics. At first I'm making a marathon at Fast realm and trying things out and then I'll do it at Lien server. I named it Virtonomist, the journey to become a Virtonomics specialist. I'm at my 13th round working retail and production and will keep going until I get tired. Then I'll take a break and setup services when I get back if I'm not bankrupt. After I'm done with the Marathon I'll try to list resources
Please check it out if you got the time and let me know if there's something you think that should be covered that I'm not doing yet. It's pretty ugly because I'm using an ugly template. I might look into that later on. Other than that, any tips on how to improve it and possibly make it useful for new players will be very welcome.
Services sector is not very profitable, unless you chose one of the specific sectors.
I'd recommend not to spend to much cash on laundry/fitness/hairdressing salons.
Restaurants/Education/IT/Autorepairshops can all be very profitable, but you need to create your own supply chain for it to work. (inc resources)
I'm currently just trying to make them positive for qualification growth and contest for managers. I believe my main source of revenue will have to be retail for quite a while. At least until I get qualification points, tech and a good amount of cash. I'm hoping to get one enterprise for each sector running during the Super Manager boost. Perhaps I'll skip power.
But even so, I'm not sure I'll be able to get resources. I'm still making up my mind about whether or not to spend points I earn. That's assuming I will earn points eventually.

I would help with promotion a bit if you had more material (like 30+ posts) and if this material would be interesting not only for hardcore virtonomics fans, but also for people who play this game first time. Also, YouTube channel about V would be really good, i created one long time ago but i am tired to post new videos and my English is not perfect.

My brain hearts when i am trying to explain game's mechanics in Russian which is my 1st lang, but when i am trying to explain this game in English by brain just dying because it's that complex. Need someone with good English who understands the game.
Juvenarius actually you can do video + text blog combo, connect it together by links, a short video about what is up + the post in the blog. Links from yourtube to your blog's posts are nice in terms of SEO. And posting videos in the blog helping those videos too.
I don't think virtonomics is good enough topic for the entire blog to make money of it (not that many people know the game) but you can start with virtonomics and then make your blog and YT about all tycoon games or about business simulation games in general. I mean later you could make content about more similar topics and virtonomcis would be the basic to get first subscribers and readers.
