Recently it has been stated, that "Microsoft is trying to convince Windows 10 users to stick with its new Edge browser over Chrome or Firefox. In a newly leaked Windows 10 preview, the software giant has added a new prompt targeting users switching default apps. If you have Microsoft Edge set as the default browser and install Chrome and switch defaults then a dialog box with "give Microsoft Edge a shot" appears.
There have already been a backlash from Mozilla. They have bashed Microsoft for making it harder to switch to Firefox in Windows 10, and the company even created a tutorial video to help Firefox users restore their default app settings.
Microsoft appears to be doing the same for photo and music apps, too".  
 
So what do you think about the prospects of Microsoft Edge? Has it got potential to take over Firefox or Chrome? And what is your "go to" browser?

I'm seriously considering de-Microsofting... Not easy for a computer-illiterate like myself, so if anybody has any easy tips (other than crApple), go ahead!
 
This daily unwanted advertisement for my "free windows 10 upgrade" is bothering me more every day. Windows8 is also something I still cannot get to work with the products I want, rather than microsoft's own stuff.

There have been a lot of complaints about Windows 8 and its inability to read certain programmes.Not so
