Even if true, the video proves nothing...unless you already want it to "prove" something. There is so much conflicting information from those claiming to be there, dripping with prejudice.

Actually I thought the sound is too loud compared to the distance between camera and the crowd, so the sound could be fake. Asking Sulaco, I was just trying to evaluate the honesty of a website that provides no information about the publisher other than saying they are a community of independent journalists from around the world.

This video is true, but it is like 2-3 weeks old if not older.

It was taken on the square in front of the Keleti (means Eastern) train station.

I just read a recent report of some volunteers from Germany and Austria who went to Röszke. What they found is pretty poor for Hungary imho. There were babys sleeping outside on the field, there were not enough tents or even blankets. That is a while AFTER Hungary closed the borders. So why can't (or want?) they still not treat refugees as human beings, satisfying at least the basic needs? I do not even want to imagine how the situation was when all the masses arrived before the borders were shut down. If you do, then it might become a little more understandable to you what caused e.g. the "illegals" to activities like brake out of the Röszke camp and their wish to continue to a country where they are treated at least a little better. What would you do in such a situation?

I think there's an answer. You surely have heard what happened to farmers of Zimbabwe, those with European background. Though they have already lost all their properties and were seriously in danger for their lives (actually some have been murdered), that demented EU didn't find their applications eligible for processing. And the farmers did accept their fate, never started walking through the world throwing faeces at people.

You can google it if you don't trust me. Not so

The anwser is very simple: we have no money.
Hungary is not a rich country, and we simply can not afford to house all these illegal migrants.

I guess you still don't understand the real situation.
The policemen and women at the border are at 7/24 duty, many of them have not slept for 28 hours.
The police sleep at the cornfields due to the lack of tents, because all of the tents are in the migrant camps.
They are short on food and water. So short, that there are many volunteers here in Budapest who collect food and water to feed the police at the border.

Seriosly, we can not feed and house our own policemen and women. Do you really think that anyone here in Hungary give a sht about the conditions in the migrant camps?
They should be happy that we had not deported them back to Serbia.
In my opinion, the we should care about the police first, only then about the migrants.

Last but not least, there was a report that several South Hungarian poor people, beggars, homeless ( even children) collected the food from the trash left behind these migrants...........
We must care about our own people not about outsiders.
If they don't like these,, conditions,, then feel free to return to Serbia.

Last sentence:
87% of Hungarians do not want to have illegal migrants in Hungary.
If you are really intrested why we don't want them in our country, please watch the videos of the clashes at Röszke.
More than 20 policemen had been injured during the clashes with migrants, who rioted, and sieged the border by force.

@Sulaco: I am humble to your country's history, but it sometimes seem like your fellow countrymen only remember the events that support a hard line against the people in need. Why don't hungarians emphasize the crisis in '56 instead? People collected money all over the west and 200K hungarian refugees got a new country. Do you think Austria was richer in '56 than Hungary is today? If I found the right number, Austria's GDP was $6.59B in 1960.

Every country have unsolved challenges, every country could use more money for health and education, care for elderly, infrastructure upgrades, and so on. If hungarians need to flee their country again would it be fair if my country decided to, let's say invest in our education sector, instead of accepting refugees? Would the hungarians understand and support our decision?

If the hungarian regime ever decide to handle opposition the russian way, by killing and incarcerating journalists and politicians, I certainly hope that my country will accept the refugees. Same thing goes for those fleeing the syrian dictator; when people risk dying it seems a bit selfish to prioritize new schools and road improvements, to put it mildly.

I was born in Russia too but here is the thing. People from Ukraine are basically Russians. They speak same language, they are orthodox, they are very similar and they will integrate into Russian society pretty quickly which they did. Migrants from Middle east are totally different from casual European people. Different language, different traditions and religion. If Ukrainian comes to Russia he/she can find job very quickly (Their education accepted in Russia 100%) and everyone around would feel comfortable with them.

For European people these immigrants from middle east like from another planet. There are very different and they can't became a real Europe people fast. They need to learn language, study everything again because their education (if they have it) would not be accepted. So Europeans asking: what they going to do in our country?

You would have a whole different opinion if you live in a village with 130 people, and all of a sudden 700 people get dumped in that same village, without knowing the language, have a far different culture. And which must be mentioned what these immigrants can be quite often: Idiots who throw away perfectly fine food and clothes, complain about everything and are ungrateful bastards. Or even worse: Assault people, rape women.

And why would we give work, housing and foods, to yet another group of people who don't understand our language. Our own citizens already have issues getting a job, have huge waiting lists for a house; And in some cases can't even afford any food; While they have to look at next to the place where they are able to get some food for free, and see a bunch of immigrants in a very nice expensive building, going outside with brand new smart phones, clothes and get food all for free, and also get additional money to spend on whatever they like. Do you think that is quite motivating to look at, while you worked your whole life for the country you live in?

Besides, 2 million immigrants in Russia, is like a small fraction percentage wisely, if you compare it to what we get already for years. Basically in a lot of cities here, you already feel like you are in the middle east, Africa, or whatever far away regions.

The population of the European union is three times more Russia. We have no less nationalities then yours, but we live in unity and mutual assistance. We are not looking for the guilty, we correct the mistakes of others. So it is not problem for us, but a new opportunion
If you can help a person of another  faith, another language, do it. Because he is weak in your environment. If you had a war and the neighbors woud have kicked you under the bombs, how would you handle this situation?

Europe can't receive all people fleeing war, dictatorship and poverty from all around the world. And we should call them by their names,...they're economic migrants, not refugees. Refugees would settle in the nearest safe city, region or country,...not spend thousands of dollars by-passing tens of safe countries to reach the most generous welfare states in Europe.
