I created a script that adds a calculator to the factory supply page that you can use to estimate the quality of products you can produce using different quality inputs or technology level. The script gets the current quality of inputs from your factory. All you have to do is enter a technology level, quality modifier, adjust any inputs you desire, and click the Calc button to get an estimate of what quality products you can expect to produce.
For quality modifier, omit the percentage (%) symbol. In the example below, I had +12% for specialization which I entered as 12. If you have more than one bonus, make sure to multiply them. For example +12% specialization and +10% innovation bonus results in a 23.2% bonus (1.12 * 1.10 = 1.232) and can be entered as 23.2
Also, when i check the error console with safari i can see the script is loaded twice (some other scripts are doing this as well, resulting in the same buttons showing up twice)
I installed it through Tampermonkey in chrome and tested it in a few factories and it seemed to work fine. Do you need it to work without tampermonkey? If so, I can probably figure out how to get it to run in chrome without it.

I'm not sure why it's doing that but I noticed that too with some scripts. I created a one line script in firefox and it loaded twice when I ran it on virtonomics.com but only once on every other site. Other scripts start to run then stop and start again from the beginning. I don't know if there's something wrong with the virtonomics web server.
Chrome: i reinstalled the script after installing Tampermonkey, it works now
Safari: 99% of the time i use this browser with Ninjascript to manage scripts. I assume the reason that your script doesn't work is the same as it doesn't work without tampermonkey on chrome so i would be most grateful if you could fix it.
by the way, that script also had run twice e.g. showing up duplicate buttons but i found out that this is because the target page is loading frames or iframes.
Its producing Q19.35 running at 67.90% Top is 82.10% which tomorrow if you want i can give quality output (or click the link as someone just ordered the remainder stock )
Oh im sorry about my slowly decreasing quality in microchip processors, ive been busy with real life to do any upgrading
I was aware efficiency effected quality but I don't have a formula for it. I don't have any factories less than 100% efficiency so I used 100% efficiency to calculate quality in the script. It takes awhile to derive a formula. I'd have to set a bunch of factories at less than 100% efficiency to see how quality is effected, find a pattern or plot it on a graph to get the type of formula, and test a few hundred more factories to get a precise formula.
I wasn't sure if it would be helpful. If you already purchased a very high technology, then you will probably want the highest quality inputs. If you're thinking about purchasing tech above your qualification, you wouldn't know what efficiency you would get unless you had two other formulas to calculate top manager qualifications and the amount efficiency is reduced when they are exceeded and that formula is affected by top3 and total workers.
I updated the formula in the script to calculate quality more precisely. Quality was off by up to 0.03 when I tested my first version but the quality has been exact in factories I checked since I modified the formula.
