xcrusader010 I'm not a professional, but I'm not a bogan, either.
A warehouse simply stores goods. I read that when the pro's control many subdivisions, they load their warehouses with a tonne of stock. Say they open a factory. Instead of relying on someone else's supply, they can order from the warehouses for a guaranteed stream of supplies. They can have many factories and stores being supplied by the warehouse.
Or, if you're closing a shop or taking out a department, you can ship them all to the warehouse so you can either sell them onto other people, or supply another store.
Or, you see real cheap items on the market, and you can resell them later at a better price.
Or, you can store all your junk in there for later use...
Again, I've only been here for a month, but a warehouse has many uses.
Thanks for the answer, but my question is about how do the companies make the decision about constructing a warehouse. Because, thinking in costs, warehouses increasem them, you'll pay more salaries, more transport and, sometimes, more customs duty.
So, I'll apreciate if someone can tell it to me: when constructing a warehouse is a advantage?
