Winner of the Contest for Managers in the nomination "Knowledge is power!"
 
When closing an enterprise, do the staff still take up spots from my allowed amount of staff I can manage?
 
Also, what kind of shut down costs are there and how easy is it to re-open the enterprise?

when you close an enterprise, it disappears. You will get a pop up telling you what the costs are. You cannot ever re-open it.
 
Alternatively, you could send the workers of an enterprise on holiday. Then it's just 1 click to bring them back. In holiday mode they don't count for your top manager allowance.
