Hey there !
 
Im very new to this game and after one week of reading tutorials and looking at this forum im still confused.
 
I restarted my failed Company on Mary, bought an office, a fitness center and one hair dressing salon all in the same City in the Trendy Neighbour hood.
 
Currently i have a bout 100% work efficiency, the service is great and the enterprises are well known (popular). The quality of the equipment is also very good and the employes are also well trained. My marketing campaings are running 24/7 on a 100% efficiency... But somehow my sales are very low .
 
As soon as i know how to add images i can show some pics.
 
At my hair dressing shop i only have 54 sales out of 400. Every update i get ONLY 1 more customer, even when i pay about 50k for adversting.
At the fitness center i specialised at Professional sports, nearly no competitors. But i only achieved about 2 customers yet.
 
What am i doing wrong ?

Those small services (also power industry) are not the way to make money in this game. People run such things for reasons other than money-making.
 
If you insist to become a service mogul for the fun of it anyway:
* Do not run permanent advertising campaigns until qualification 20. just the cheapest campaign once every week or so.
* Avoid trendy neighbourhood and suburbs especially in small towns. only a handful of residents live there.
* Run a profitable secondary business (i.e a store) to cover the almost-inevitable losses in services sector for a few months.
* Run fitness centres in countries that support "The Resolution on the development of Physical Culture and Sports". That will double the attendance.
* Pricing Hint: Usually these services are extremely inelastic to price changes.
