We are glad to present you a new game realm Nika with new unique features!
 
Player vs Player
The most important feature of the new realm is the PvP! Pilot PvP actions: Industrial espionage (Steal one turn of research for your laboratory), Retail headhunting (Entice some of the competitor’s sellers), Fake contract (Order from a competitor’s warehouse a product not intended for public sale), Fraud with rent (Return money paid to the city budget for rent).
For any action Agents are used, the number of Agents is renewed every game update or you can buy them for points.

Cost resources
Another difference is the cost of resource-generating enterprises - on the new realm it is greatly reduced: farms and plantations is 5 times cheaper, all mines - 2 times cheaper!
The cost of Conduct geological research at mines is also equated with the cost of buying a mine.
 
Business Licensing (Slots)
The approach to the creation of subdivisions was fundamentally revised. To reduce the time of recounting and the number of similar small actions, we promote the creation of compact business structures, and the enlargement of business units in them.
Each unit requires a license, which at the start of each player is given 10. To build a larger number of units you need to buy additional licenses. When purchasing or building resource-producing units an additional license is not required.
For offices a business license is not required.
 
Gameplay
We also make a number of changes to the gameplay on the new realm:
 
1. All competitions and tenders are disabled for the first time. The launch of the Tender system will be announced additionally.
 
2. Updated the system of independent suppliers. At the start they will be 3 kinds:
2.1. Starting independent for equipment, animals, meat, rubber, wool, wax with a fixed price - they will be removed approximately 2 months after the launch of the realm with an alert for at least 1 week;
2.2. Independent suppliers of the basic sector - grain (3 types), clay and minerals.
2.3. "Market" independent floating price: oil, aluminum, copper, plastic, steel, glass and electronic components. The price update takes place once per game update depending on the demand for this type of resource.
 
3. The productivity of a number of units has been changed, mainly changes have been made in the Livestock Farms.
 
4. The principle of functioning of agricultural farms and plantations has been changed. We decided to remove the effect of "seasonality" and make farms an analogue of production enterprises for production (year-round production).
 
5. It is officially forbidden to use clones (game characters controlled by one participant) on Nika realm in any form.
 
Future
About the future of Virtonomics 2.0 we will say for the time being very briefly. In the next few months:
- PvP tools will be greatly expanded;
- In the near future there will be another new element of gameplay - crafting. Players will be able to invent and create for their companies and characters new and unique game entities;
- "Mining" will appear.
- A new modern interface will appear.

The first game update on the realm is scheduled for June 21, 2017.
The start time of the update is 12:00 (server time).

Dear players, BizWar has a new function for agents - "Basic protection" for business units

Removing protection should take place at the end of the update instead of immediately. I removed protection so I could use that agent to steal but was unable to use him until the next update so he should have stayed and defended the lab until he was able to be used for something else.

Why is the number of agents set at only 5 regardless of the qualifications of the manager? I think there should be a way for managers with higher qualifications to gain additional permanent agents.
 
Also, using game points to purchase more agents only provides agents for one update. It would be nice if purchasing agents would provide an agent for more than one update.
 
Without a better way to have more agents, there is no incentive to research more or expand retail: opening small factories or stores and researching technologies becomes a waste of time. Rather than forcing megastores and limiting research, it would be nice to find a better balance.

Both of those are great for those of us who spend points. My concern is for the in-between player who can't afford to "pay-to-play" so much. Without spending a lot of points, a player is "safe" to stay small (5 protected units). There must be a way to better balance risk and reward.
 
I just thought it would be nice to have some progression for acquiring agents. Since this is still a simulation game, what if for every 3 to 5 levels of management qualification a new agent becomes available. Start the additions after level 10 or something.
 
Another approach would be to add a "Security" qualification. Points could be spent to increase this qualification or the qualification could increase slowly based on a player's use of BizWar activities. The more BizWar actions played, the more the Security qualification grows. At certain levels, perhaps every fifth level, a new permanent agent is available.
 
Of course, V-Store agents should still be available, too.

I think your suggestions are excellent although that last comment makes me wonder if some people don't agree (probably they just clicked on your company and saw you were successful which made you a target). I'd like to see agents become more successful as qualifications grow instead of always having 100% success attacking or defending.

Someone blacklisted me for no reason. I'd really like an agent that specializes in arson to set his warehouses and factories on fire with a possibility of burning them to the ground and destroying everything.
 
Suggestion: Arson task with varying success. Most of the time would result in a small fire destroying 10% or 20% of inventory (preferably unevenly so it would destroy more of some products compared to others). Sometimes it would be put out easily causing only a few thousand coins in damage while occasionally the fire would spread and destroy everything in the warehouse or burn the factory completely requiring that it be rebuilt.
 
Another suggestion: I don't like thieves so I'd like to put an agent on defense to capture thieves and hold them hostage until the company that sent them pays a ransom for their safe return. Another idea is to use an agent to teach them a lesson so they can't work for a few weeks.

Since my research continues to go backwards on my unprotected lab, I have three choices: 1) spend a lot of points for an agent/protection to continue researching, 2) drop protection from another retail or lab location, or 3) stop researching. Now for the business strategy decision: Which option is the most valuable to the player? Choice #3 it will stop wasting time and money on research that will not be completed.
 
Option 1 is wonderful for V-team, not good for the player (essentially a $50 per month subscription for playing on Nika with lower risk).
Option 2 only shifts the risk from one location to another, a net zero value and nothing for V-team.
Option 3 slows player growth and nothing for V-team.
 
Alternative (previously recommended):
1. Have an additional agent become available after a few levels of increase in a qualification (Management or Security).
2. Let players use points to increase the qualification to level up for that next agent.
3. Continue to offer purchasing of agents for long-term and/or short-term use.
 
Player has opportunity to protect/expand or to attack other players with additional agents. V-team has revenue sources that would be used (just as point are purchased and used now for various things).
 
This approach also encourages more BizWar activity since all players (not just large-purchase point buyers) can have additional agent resources as they continue playing.
 
I'm not trying to complain here... just looking for an incentive to be more involved with BizWar activities and to increase the resources (agents) available to do more activities. One cannot do much with only 5 agents.

Actually, base cost is 1 point per 5, so per 5 units after the initial 5 the cost goes to 28-31 per month per 5.
 
Now on paper this sounds like a awesome idea for money mooching from whales, but it's equally how you can kill the game.
 
If everyone who has 5 free points attacked a single whale for a week, what would happen? Doubt they'd spend the hours plus money required to stop us. They'd quite and move on because spending hours to defend what takes is just 2 minutes to do is hardly worth it.
 
Note: I've basically abandoned this realm. I love the idea but in typical V fashion, they've destroyed it.

Option 1 is wonderful for V-team, not good for the player (essentially a $50 per month subscription for playing on Nika with lower risk).
Actually, base cost is 1 point per 5, so per 5 units after the initial 5 the cost goes to 28-31 per month per 5.

The Patent Bureau provides 100% defense for every lab and only costs $10/month. Proventus built 215 labs so he can research every tech and it's impossible to steal any of his research.
