I just set up a new company on Nika realm. It looks the same as other realms except there is a new BizWar menu option that allows you to send agents to conduct espionage (steal another companies research), sabotage (entice some of competitors sellers), capture (order products from a competitors warehouse that are not for sale), and fraud (return rent paid to the city). There are 4 actions now but it says there will be at least 15 later.

and i do not understand why you don't just add a new realm to give new players a chance at getting somewhere in the rankings

Oh sh!t, agents and business licences cost money in the new game realm, we haven't learnt have we?

You can build 10 subdivisions for free. After that, it looks like it costs 1 point per subdivision (See My Company -> Markets).
