Strong lobby of meat oligarchs has roused the well-established way of life of most households on Anna. Aggressive ad campaign of “meat” lifestyle has led to mass giving up vegetable meals in favor of beef, pork and mostly poultry. To a considerable degree this was caused by extremely high prices set by the sellers who took advantage of the current deficiency in order to significantly increase the commercial margin.

The market crush is expected right after the pre-season vegetable growers’ report which is due on Tuesday, 18 Nov. 2009. In spite of retailers’ promises to strongly decrease the release prices (they say price of tomatoes will fall to the price of fruit, and the prices of potato and sunflower seeds – to the price of sugar), the experts predict the market fall of mentioned cultures by 2 times.
